Hel Music Productions Presents: CHARISMA

# commissioned through the Arts Council of Australia's Funding body

PLUS: Launch of new Charisma CD

"Merry-Go-Round" by Martin Wesley-Smith, with images of Afghanistan by George Gittoes. This is an indictment, in sound and image, of the Australian Government's policies towards asylum-seekers. Lands Collide by Brigid Burke, is an exploration of frequency changes of sound and visual worlds through contraction and expansion with visuals reminiscent of Javanese drawings. A Book of Changes by Jon Drummond refers to the ancient Chinese mystical divination text the "I Ching" and is an interactive work for musicians and computer. Port Kembla Videodelic by Stephen Ingham is an interactive work, where the performers stimulate the visual images.
